Description

Join us to tap into your creativity, exercise your problem-solving skills, and just have fun! This is NOT a traditional "how to draw" workshop, but a "how to think outside the box" workshop.

Led by Denise Iacovone, this two-day workshop will explore various new ways to look at the world. It culminates in "Making the Audible Visible" by painting music with Denise during the culminating concert of the Talkeetna Jazz Workshop with Maestro Rocco John Iacovone. The first meeting will take place during the jazz workshop dress rehearsal on Thursday July 3rd and the second meeting will take place at the final concert on Saturday July 5th. Each session will be approximately 2.5 hours. Bring snacks!

Denise is a NYC and international improvisational "Live Art" painter, and NYC Master teacher. She holds an undergraduate and graduate degree in Fine Arts and Art Education K through Adult Ed. from New York University. There she studied under the world-renowned Art Educator (who spent many summers teaching in Fairbanks!) Robert Kaulpelis.

This workshop is for artists 14 years and older, unless accompanied by a paying adult participant.
