Event Dates: May 23 & 24, 2026
Event Times: Saturday 12pm to 8pm and Sunday 12pm to 6pm
Vendors must register by Friday, May 15, 2026.
Vendors must be willing to commit to both days of the festival.
This year we are working on a special events permit to close the road between the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar and the Museum. This will open up space for a few more vendors and food trucks. We have also applied for grants to bring in bigger bands! 2026 is shaping up to be a fabulous year for the Talkeetna Arts Festival.
Booth Options:
Indoor booth space fits a 6' table. Outdoor booth space fits a 10x10ft tent, if desired. Vendors must supply table, tent (if applicable), and all other display materials. Stands and other fabrications may be used to display merchandise as long as other vendors are not infringed upon. Please be considerate of other vendors!
A discounted booth price is available for vendors who are willing to offer at least one interactive demonstration/workshop of their art form (20min). These slots are limited. Please consider a meaningful demonstration to receive the discounted vendor fee. Demonstrations/Workshops must be approved by DAC.
Set Up/ Break Down:
*Because we are adding vendors on the road, you may not be able to park next to your booth for offloading. We will help facilitate getting you close by to offload. I highly recommend you bring a cart.
Indoor Vendors Setup:
Friday, May 22nd from 4pm to 8pm.
Saturday, May 23rd 9am.
Outdoor Vendors Setup:
-Spot numbers will be emailed to you by Thursday, May 21st. The outdoor spots will be well labeled and easily accessed without staff.
-Friday, May 22nd staff will be available from 4pm to 8pm
-Saturday, May 23rd staff will be available by 9am.
-Do not take a different booth number without permission from DAC staff.
-If you would like your booth next to a specific booth, PLEASE let DAC know as soon as possible.
All Vendors Breakdown:
Sunday May 23rd - Music will go until 7 or 8pm, but vendors can start breaking down after 6pm.
Vendors MUST pack up by Sunday night, because we have to open the road by 7am Monday Morning.
Useful Information:
Camping and Security
-Because the festival is downtown, there is no space at the venue for camping. We are working with the Airmen's Association to allow camping and parking on the airstrip for vendors.
-This event is downtown. There is no real way to keep people from walking through after hours. We do not provide Security. Some outdoor vendors slept in their booths. You are also welcome to pitch a tent next to your tent after the event closes at 8pm and before it opens back up at 12pm. You will be given access to DAC's bathrooms during the night. The Hangar will be locked up at night.
